For your 2015 Mercedes Benz ML 350, I recommend you start with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76141 which has a towing capacity rating of 7,000 lbs, so it will work with your trailer.
Then I recommend the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT. This wiring harness is a confirmed fit for your vehicle that grabs power from the battery and then using zero contact interface sensors to capture the wire signals without splicing your wires. This will give you a 4-way trailer wiring connection.
Then I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10033B you mentioned which will work well and is one of my favorites. It will give you adjustability for level towing as well as a 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch hitch ball option to match multiple trailer couplers. I also recommend using a locking hitch pin like # BX8858 to secure your investment by deterring theft.
