I am looking for the highest capacity 2inch 1.25inch standard ball you have. I see a 12,000 with a 1inch shaft, which makes no sense, since that is less than 1.25inch and all the 1.25inch ones are less than 12,000. thanks....

The highest capacity 2 inch hitch ball we offer that has a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank is going to be the Curt # A-90 which has a 10k capacity.
It is interesting that a 1 inch shank diameter ball # 40038 has a 12k capacity yet has a smaller shank, but the reality is the 1-1/4 inch shank diameter is much rarer than the 1 inch shank so there is just more demand for options in that size.
