Published 02/17/2017

Question:

I like to replace a manual trailer jack with one electric or hydraulic. The plate of the manual jack say 8000 lb. capacity and 7000 lb lift capacity. Let me know if you have one for this application. The trailer is 30foot and two axels

It sounds like you are looking for either an A-frame jack or a powered landing gear set. Is the trailer a bumper pull trailer or a gooseneck/fifth wheel?

My favorite A-frame jack to recommend is the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000. This jack has a capacity of 5,000 pounds. If you need more capacity than this, let us know.

If the trailer requires landing gear we have the Reese kit part # RP500708 for if the distance between the mounting stops on the trailer are 17-1/2 inches (underside of top bracket to top of lower bracket).

If your frame clamps are instead 20-1/4 inches the Ultra Fab part # UF17-943010 would be a direct replacement.
