Question:

I have a 2015 Ford F-150 Platinum and I bought a LED light bar and Hitch light, When I plug either of them in I get all kinds of warnings and it disables my backup sensors as well as my backup camera and my truck thinks I have a trailer connected. How can I hook these lights up without disabling all of my backup features and keep my truck from thinking there is a trailer connected?

The issue might be that the LED lights do not draw enough power and it is confusing the computer on your 2015 Ford F-150. If you accessories plug into a 4-Way then you could use adapter # C35FR which has built in load resistors to add more load to the system so it won't confuse the computer. If they plug into a 7-Way we have a similar adapter, # C57003.

There may be other ways to disable those alerts or to have manual control over them but you may need to check with a Ford technician or find that information in the owner's manual.
