Can 2006 Scion tC Be Flat Towed Behind a Motorhome
Question:
Can you flat tow a 2006 Scion TC

According to the owner's manual, a 2006 Scion tC can be flat towed if it has a manual transmission. You'll want to tow with the transmission in neutral and the steering column unlocked with the ignition turned to the 'ACC' position.
To flat tow your Scion, you'll need a tow bar like the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain part # RM-522 , base plates like # 1176-1, safety cables like RM-643, a wiring harness like # RM-15267. You'll also need a supplemental braking system like the Roadmaster Even Brake, part # RM-9400. You might also need a high/low adapter if the receiver height on your motorhome is more than 3 inches +/- of 16 inches.
I've linked to installation videos for the base plate kit and the wiring, as well as to our selection of high/low adapters.
