Review of Taskmaster Trailer Tires and Wheels - Tire with Wheel - TA29AR- Video
Hello our buddy, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R15 radial trailer tire in a load range D, and it's mounted on this 15-inch Black Machined Trinity Aluminum Trailer Wheel, with the five on 4-1/2-inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is ideal for RVs, campers, and trailers. And what's unique with this tire wheel, this assembly is match mounted in balance to the wheel for ride comfort, durability, basically match mounting of tires and wheels is a process in which the tires installation position on the wheel is specifically selected to minimize final force of imbalance, meaning the amount of weight to choose. So the method to match mounting is you align the tire's lightest spot with the wheel's heaviest spot, and that's to eliminate most of the radial force that can cause tire and suspension wear. Then the final balancing is done by applying weights. more

Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer, and today we're gonna take a look at the Yakima OverHaul Truck Bed Ladder Rack, and we're gonna see how it works with and how it installs on our 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500. So if you're the owner of a Silverado and you have an existing tonneau cover on it like we have today, ton of covers can often come being compatible with ladder racks. And one of the ways that they can be compatible with a ladder rack is to use these T slots along the rails right here. So if you have something like the Retrax XR or what we have today is the Pace Edwards UltraGroove, you're gonna be able to mount your ladder rack and use this T track as a mount without interfering with the use of your tonneau cover at all. So one of the coolest things about the OverHaul is that it is adjustable. You could adjust it up and down for height. more

Hey there, neighbors, Kevin here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a closer look and showing you how to install the Dexter Vault hybrid lubrication system. The Dexter Vault is going to be a fully sealed system here because we are gonna be adding in gasket maker at our connection point at the front of our hub and at a back with our grease seal. This is fully encased and it's going to be pushing in the hybrid oil grease into our bearings, so that way we're keeping a good pressure on there and not allowing any water to potentially leak into our hub. Now you may have seen a similar option with Bearing Buddy's, and that's kind of a similar design where it's a spring loaded cap that's going to force marine grease into that hub and do essentially the same thing. Now with Dexter, they took it one step further. They have a hybrid of both oil and grease where when we're at our standing room temp. more

Hi, this is Scott with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at and installing our CURT Class 3 Hitch on our 2019 Dodge Challenger. A Dodge Challenger's a really popular vehicle, and our neighbor today wanted to get his set up so he could take his bike rack and put it on there and haul his bikes around, go into the trail, whatever he wants to do with it. Before he was using the type that bounced onto the trunk and it really wasn't working out real great for him. So we got it all set up for him with the CURT hitch, and I think this has turned out really well. This CURT hitch we have on our Challenger, it does sit a little bit low and you will be able to see the cross tube underneath on this one, but it is gonna be a two-inch by two-inch receiver on this one. more

Installing the M-3 Enclosed Trailer Transition Plate- Video
Hi, I'm Daniel with etrailer, and today on our enclosed trailer here, we are gonna be installing this transition plate. Usually when you get enclosed trailers, they will come with a transition plate, but usually they're made out of wood, so those can get really beaten up over repeated use. And actually ours today, it didn't have a transition plate at all. So if you're planning on rolling dollies or pallet jacks or anything that has wheels, it can be really difficult to make it up this stop here of the door. But with this new transition plate here, it's made out of a nice durable steel, and it's gonna give you that nice gentle slope up to your enclosed trailer, which makes loading and unloading a lot easier. This transition plate has a long piano hinge, which usually when you have those wood doors, they just have those two large hinges on either side, and there's nothing really wrong with that. more

A Closer Look at the M-3 Enclosed Trailer Transition Plate- Video
Hi, I'm Daniel with etrailer, and today we'll be reviewing this transition plate from M-3. Usually when you get enclosed trailers they will come with a transition plate, but usually they're made out of wood, so those can get really beaten up over repeated use. And actually ours today, it didn't have a transition plate at all. So if you're planning on rolling dollies or pallet jacks or anything that has wheels, it can be really difficult to make it up this stop here of the door. But with this new transition plate here, it's made out of a nice durable steel, and it's gonna give you that nice gentle slope up to your enclosed trailer, which makes loading and unloading a lot easier. Now, typically you get these older trailers, a lot of the fabric on these couches will typically start to get a little hard and then it'll kind of crack in some areas and then it just starts to spread and it doesn't really look good. Now, this is gonna be a great size for our trailer today 'cause this was gonna give us a little bit of extra space, which we didn't have before. Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Flat Tow Brake System Set Up - 2024 GMC Canyon- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here from etrailer, and, today, we are taking a look and installing the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Fixed Braking System on 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X. Now this is gonna work all the same on any Canyon really, and this is gonna be a great option for those of you that are looking for a braking system that you don't have to set up each time and store like a portable. Once you have a fixed system installed, really, it's just truly plug-and-play, and you don't have to worry about anything. So if you're a full-timer or you flat tow quite often, this is just gonna make hooking up and unhooking so much easier, and this is a tried and true robust system. Now the downside of your fixed systems are gonna be the fact that it does require a little bit more installation, and that's what I'm gonna show you today. Really, if you're slightly mechanically inclined and can follow the instructions and use the video as a good reference on where to put everything and how to get everything hooked up, it's really not too bad step-by-step. more

Ford Transits are great vehicles and they can do a lot. So whether you're towing with your Transit for work or for recreational purposes, you're definitely gonna need some wiring to make everything safe and legal. This is gonna be a four-pole plug and it's going to send the signals of your vehicle back to your trailer. It's gonna send your turn signals as well as your brake lights. It also comes with a dust cap, so that's really nice to have because it's gonna be living back here on your hitch so you want that to be covered to be safe from the elements. more

Hi, I'm Daniel with you etrailer and today we're gonna take a look at the Curt custom underbed gooseneck trailer hitch on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. What's really nice about this kit is when you're not towing around your gooseneck trailer, you can actually take this out and that gives you back your bed. So you can still use your truck for truck things, like hauling around in sheets of plywood or filling this up for whatever you need. And when you're ready to tow, you can just put your ball right in there and lock it in place by just putting this latch down. And you got your safety loops on the sides here. Those are spring loaded. more
