It gives you an open-ended design whenever you think the center cap out that allows for you to easily grease those easy lube spindles and those grease zerks on the end of your spindle by simply removing the cap and keeping the wheel and tire assembly on, making it quicker and easier for maintenance. Today we're gonna take a look at the Taskmaster stainless steel trailer wheel center cap, with the center plug for the 4.25 inch to 4.27 inch pilot hole wheels. Now this center cap will insert into your steel wheels to cover the hub on your trailer. Basically, all you have to do is slide this cap through the rear of the pilot hole on your steel wheel before installing the tire wheel onto your trailer. Replacing a Taskmaster Viking Aluminum Trailer Wheel Center Cap- Video
Hey, everyone, Bruce here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna take a look at and install our Taskmaster Center Caps. Now, these are meant to replace the center cap of your Taskmaster Viking Series Aluminum Wheels, but what we found it will actually work on any 15-inch wheel with five lugs and that 3.19-inch center diameter. Now, what I do like about these, it gives you a nice, clean look, plus it still gives you access to your grease zerk underneath this cap without having to remove the wheel. Just take a flathead screwdriver, stick it in the little hole there, give it a twist, and rotate it a little bit. Stick the screwdriver in here, give it another twist, and you can pull the cap right off and you've got access to your grease zerks. more

A Closer Look at the Excalibur Trailer Wheel Center Cap- Video
Hey, everyone, Bruce here at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at and install our Excalibur Center Caps on our trailer wheels. Now, these center caps will fit wheels that have a 3.19-inch pilot diameter. The pilot diameter, which what that means is the center hole in our wheel, that's the size of the hole that these will fit. Now, what I do like about these is it does give you a cleaner look, and that this cap is removable. The only downside to me is there's not really a notch in here to go ahead and get a screwdriver in, so you kind of gotta be careful so you don't break this end cap or anything, 'cause this is plastic. more

All About the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap- Video

If we look at the rear, you notice we don't have it on there, and it does give you a cleaner look. These center caps will fit anywhere from a 12 to 15 inch wheel with a five-lug pattern as you see here, and the pilot diameter, which is the center of our wheel here, needs to be at 3.19 inches. more

So folks, again, this is gonna replace one quantity, one lug nut cover, for your Phoenix USA Hub Cover. You've got the rubber gasket here, or hard plastic rather, then you got the threads on the inside. The whole thing is an ABS construction of plastic with a chrome finish, so it's not gonna rust or corrode and it snaps onto 22 millimeter lug nuts and again, you're getting quantity one. Now, this is a replacement center cap that'll fit the 15" or 16" diameter six-lug Viking Series aluminum trailer wheel that has the 4.25" pilot hole diameter.The cap basically will install from the backside of the wheel, and it's held in place when the wheel is mounted up to the trailer. You can see this cap has a little ridge here; so when you slide this through the center hole on the wheel, this ridge will hold it up against the wheel. Then when you put the wheel up and tighten the lug nuts down, it holds it in place.Nice thing about this, it is a two-piece design, so it allows you to remove the top of the cap, and yet still allows you to gain access to the center hub on your trailer without having to take the whole wheel and tire assembly off your trailer. more

Ellen : Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap. This is going to finish out the look of your trailer by kind of covering up that axle end, and providing a nice, shiny, bright hub for you. It's going to have an access point here at the little inner cap, so you can pop this out and then do maintenance to your axle so you can keep everything greased up and working properly. To do that you'll want to get kind of a flat knife to get in there and pop that out. It's just held on by some clips at the back, so just a little plastic cap to hold that in place, but you want to make sure that you don't damage the rest of the surface because it'll mar up your center cap.So it does make it easier, though, to do all that maintenance on your axle so you don't have to remove the whole wheel and tire assembly, you can just pop out that cap and then put your grease gun on the end of your easy lube axle, if that's what you have, or loop everything up otherwise.This will sit behind your wheel and tire, so you want to put this on before you get those installed, since that's how it's held in place, by this little lip, by that wheel entire assembly being on. It's going to fit a pilot diameter for a wheel that measures 5.12 inches, or five and an eighth inch. more

Now this is a silver machine plastic center cap, which will cover the hub and the lugs on a 16 inch high spec series 06 aluminum trailer wheel that has either a six lug or an eight lug bolt pattern. Adds a nice finishing touch for a better looking trailer. The center portion, just the cap here, this can actually be removed to access the hub on the axle without removing the plate, and to install this to the wheel, it does include this bolt. Basically what you would do is, you'll notice this tab on the one side of the plate here, and on the wheel itself there's a little notch out. This tab will go into that cutout on the wheel, and that'll align that whole up with the hole in the wheel. more

Today we're taking a look at the Phoenix USA hub cover. This unit covers the hub on your wheel, and it adds a clean finish, design or clean finish touch. It is a center bolt mount design, mounting hardware included. So it comes with this bracket right here. This installs over the axle studs and secures with lock washers and axle nuts to the axle end plate. It's a nice steel construction, protective coating on it keeping it safe from rust and corrosion. more

Phoenix USA Rear Wheel Center Cap w/ Pop Out Review- Video
Today we're taking a look at the Phoenix USA hub cover. This cover covers the hub on your rear wheel. You would place the hub cover on the hub before installing your tire and wheel assembly, and once installed it has a really nice clean finished touch. The center section which is this area right here, this can be removed for hub access so you have an indention right here, here and here so you could place a flat head screwdriver in there, pop the clips and remove that center section for easy hub access. It is a clip mount design, uses the three clips for attachment, clips are included. It also comes with a decal, a piece of backing so you peel that off, stick it right here in the center, gives it a finished look. more
