Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today, we're taking a look at the etrailer 30 amp solar charge controller. The solar panel is gonna take the sun's energy and send it to our main unit here, which you can see has a nice digital display, so it's gonna let us know that we're getting that sunlight to trickle charge our happy little battery. And what's really nice, too, is it makes for a nice, easy installation. You can have everything labeled here as to where your wires go, and it makes the installation that much easier. And you also have some USB charging ports, which is really nice to have on hand. Solar energy has definitely become more popular as time goes on, and for good reason, the prices come down quite a bit and also it's become really easy to put it on something like an enclosed trailer like we have today, your camper. more

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Goal Zero 10 amp PWM Solar Charge Controller. Now, this 10 amp solar controller has the PWM technology, which stands for pulse-width modulation, and this will help regulate your solar panel output to provide consistent amperage to your batteries. Now, this is designed to work with the gel, the AGM, the calcium flooded, lead-acid, LTO, and even the lithium iron phosphate batteries. It will include everything I got here laid out on the table, it includes the solar charge controller, you can see the cord here which I've attached to it, it is a three foot long spade to eight millimeter cable, and this is what'll connect the controller to your solar panel, and it comes with this nice user's guide that'll describe how it operates and how you connect it. Now, to connect this and charge a battery, you must purchase a spade to SAE cable, which we sell separately on our website, it's part number GZ27MR, and it would connect right next to this one here to the spades, and then you run that to your battery. more

What's nice, if you noticed these two lights up front here, these indicator lights will monitor the battery and the controller status, and what's pretty handy is if you look on top of your regulator, they do have a guide here that'll indicate what those different lights mean when they light up. more
