This is gonna be our 12 inch gen Y serrated step, and what that is gonna allow you to do is to maintain traction and get up on the top of your taller SUVs or pickup trucks. All you need is a two inch receiver, and then that's gonna allow you to get up to the top of your vehicle for cleaning or loading. Gen Y products in general has a really solid reputation as far as being made out quality materials. This is gonna have a black powder coat over the steel that's treated for corrosion underneath. So when you start getting those nicks and cuts into the powder coat that just happens from being a hitch accessory, you don't have to worry about it flaking off and you know rusting away. more

As far as your dimensions, you're 36 inches across and six inches deep, so it gives you plenty of space to put your foot when you're climbing into the bed of the truck. It's not recommended that you step on the caps. However, you still have plenty of space on the inside to get up and into the bed of your truck, and I think it's kind of cool also that you can match your running boards, so you'll have that seamless look going all the way around your vehicle. The step itself gives you a two and a quarter inch drop, which would provide easier access into any larger vehicles. And the step on it has a nice range tread to it and it provides sure footing. Also one of this show you if we zoom in, if i show you on the underside of the hitch shank, you can see there's this extra bracket, that's a hitch stabilizer bracket, and it offers three threaded holes with one bolt in there, and that installs on the underside of your hitch that can help support the step when you install it and also prevents the step from Raveling. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we are looking at our CURT hitch step for CURT adjustable channel ball mounts here at etrailer. This works great if you already have a CURT adjustable ball mount, because then you just add this heavy duty step, and then you can get two features out of one ball mount. So both a hitch ball for towing and a step for extra height or extra traction to access your cargo area in your truck bed, or even your roof rack. This uses the pins that are already on your adjustable channel ball mounts to secure these steps. more

The Low-Down on the Reese Towpower Tow and Go Hitch Step for Ball Mounts- Video
Hi everyone. It's Evangelian here at etrailer. And today we are looking at our Reese tow power tow and go hitch step here at etrailer. So this is a hitch step that you would use with your ball mount, ideally would Reece ball mounts, but any standard ball mount would work too. And this is going to give you some extra height as well as extra traction for whatever purposes you need, but you can use this in the front or the rear of your vehicle, but just remember that if you do use it in the front, you're going to need the front receiver hitch. And this works with ball mounts. more

Pilot Bullt Black Bull LED Hitch-Mounted Step Review - 2012 Ram 1500- Video
Hey everybody, Clayton here at etrailer.com. Today, we are going to be checking out the Bully Black Bull Hitch Mounted Step for two inch and one and a quarter inch hitches on our 2012 Ram 1500. Now adding a hitch step is going to be a great upgrade because it's a little bit lower area for us to step up into to get into the bed of our truck. This thing does look pretty sharp on the back of our Ram, it has this nice matte black finish. It's going to help protect it against rust and corrosion. It also has this nice rubber stepping pad along with the rubber end caps. more

Hands-On with the Carr Hitch Mounted Step for 2" Trailer Hitches- Video
Hello everybody this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this car black aluminum hitch mount step for two inch trailer hitches and it has the Jeep graphic on it right here. Now, basically this will slide into a two-inch trailer hitch receiver and it secures with the five-eighths inch diameter pin and clip or hitch lock. Now the pin and clip and hitch lock we do sell separately on our website. If you already have one you just need to make sure it's a five eights inch diameter size but I wanted to show you what we're talking about. I have an example, here is a two inch hitch receiver opening. more
