A Closer Look at the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer for 2" Hitches- Video
Hi, everyone, I'm Evangeline here at etrailer, and today I'm using the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer. This concept has been around for a while because it works, so you have that U-bolt with that rubberized cover for it, so it really cinches around your shank, and then you have your plate, and when you tighten this all down, this creates all that tension and removes the wobble. The big question I get is, what's the proper way to install it The fitment I have here is because I have very limited clearance between my hitch and my bumper, so I have it in this configuration. You can also see it in the other configuration where you have the plate on top. As long as you tighten down the bolts and you have the proper points of contact, it all works well, the same way. Your collar or your U-bolt goes around the shank, and then when you tighten it down, it all secures. more

Checking Out the Malone Anti-Rattle HitchLock System- Video
Hi everyone, I'm Evangeline here at etrailer. Today we have the Malone HitchLock Anti-Rattle System. It is a U-bolt and plate that turns the rattle of your hitch accessory from this to this. Now it utilizes two nuts to really cinch down, and you're gonna need a three quarter inch wrench. It's gonna be a very easy addition to your system. To properly use this, you wanna line it up where the plate flat part is pushing up on your hitch receiver of your vehicle, and then you have this lip is now pushing up on the shank of your hitch accessory. more

Now this is gonna fit a lot of different vehicles, and now the biggest thing to watch out for is if it's gonna be compatible with your hitch or not. And in most cases it is gonna be compatible with the hitch on your Sierra. And the way you can actually double check is to make sure you do have a two inch receiver and you have this collar that goes around/ As long as you have a collar, it's gonna allow this to grab onto there. You can tighten that down with these two bolts, that you can use to tighten this down with your included Allen key. more

Hey neighbors, Kevin here with etrailer. And today, we are taking a look at our 2025 GMC Terrain. And what we have here on our trailer hitch is the etrailer anti-rattle collar. And what that's going to allow you to do is take up any slack for any accessories that don't already come with an anti-rattle device, like our ball mount that we have in right now. So as it stands, without this device being used, (ball mount clacks) you're going to hear a whole lot of noise back at your trailer hitch because there's nothing that's really securing this fully in place besides just that hitch pin. So what we'll do is we'll tighten up by drawing down the bolt that's inside of here onto our accessory. more

Now this is a device that you can attach to the collar of your receiver tube here, and take all of that shake and play from your accessories down and reduce it. We've got a cargo carrier loaded up right now just pinned in like it normally would be, and this is how it comes out of the box. You can see this level of movement. One is gonna be just obnoxious while you drive. It's gonna create a lot of noise, but also, it's potentially a little unsafe for your cargo because it's not very secure. more

If you've ever been annoyed by a rattling hitch in the back of your vehicle or your cargo carrier wiggling around making a bunch of noise or maybe even your bike rack wiggling around, we have a few options here we're gonna take a look at and see if we can get that problem fixed for you. So this is what I really don't like with just having the regular 5/8 pin. You get a lot of movement and going down the road, I can hear that. And if I have gears stacked up high enough to where I can see it, I look in my rear view mirror and I can just see everything wiggling around back there and it kind of drives me nuts. This guy's gonna work on your two-inch receiver, and once you set it up, it's completely tool-free. It's gonna remove the slop that you have in your receiver tube to give you a easier ride. So, let's take a closer look and see what's special about it. So, on our '23 Chevy Silverado, we just put it in the two-inch receiver and I would never suggest that you tow without having a pin securing your ball mount. But just to get an idea, you saw how much it was shaking before, and now, just with the hand tightening, you can see how much slack that you're taking out of the receiver, so that's gonna give you a smoother ride and cause less wear on your truck and trailer. more

Hi, this is Scott with Etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Etrailer anti-rattle collar for our 2025 Subaru Crosstrek. One of the things I think I'm gonna like about this anti-rattle collar is, this would drive me crazy, hitting bumps or going down the road and hear all this rattling around back there, that would drive me nuts. So we're gonna get this installed and see how well it gets rid of all that rattling around. To install our anti-rattle collar, we wanna keep it one or two ways. We wanna be able to put it on this way or you can also put it on this way. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go up and down with it today, and just get it to slip over, and it is gonna be adjustable so it's gonna be able to fit the flange of your receiver. more

Hi everyone, I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. Today we have the etrailer anti-rattle collar, and we're actually gonna see how well this fits on our 2023 Fleetwood Discovery LXE motor home. So this is gonna be a unique application for our anti-rattle collar. The neighbor already had one, a different one on their motor home for towing things. Checking Out the etrailer Anti-Rattle Locking Hitch Pin- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at the D-shaped Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin. This guy is locking, and it comes with two keys that's gonna allow you to secure it directly to your receiver. Now, the diameter itself is right at 5/8 so you can use it in just about any standard two-inch hitch. However, if you do have a Benton Shifts&Grins or a Benton ShiftShow Bike Carrier, this D shape is gonna allow you to secure it and screw in just by using one hand. The D shape of our pin still fits your standard 5/8 diameter receiver hole, so it'll work fine for that, but it is also V-shaped and that's gonna work with the Benton Shifts&Grins and the Benton ShiftShow Bike Carriers. 'Cause on the inside of those guys, that's gonna allow you to feed it through (bolt clattering) and you can actually bolt it on using one hand. more
