Now, this fitting is going to create a 1 1/2-inch male NPT connection on the end of a bear hose, creating connections for your freshwater tank or other components in your RV. You're gonna insert this barbed end into a 1 1/4-inch hose, and then attach a hose clamp, and that clamp is not included with this. This is made from PVC, so durable, strong. So folks, a pipe plug like this closes off a pressurized water line permanently or for just during repairs. You can also use it as a test cap and close off an end to check for leaks on new plumbing. Again, it's a half inch male NPT, or National Pipe Thread, and it's gonna thread onto the water hose or in that fitting. more

And again, you've got that cone seal included, so it's gonna work great just as a cap again for testing new water lines that are half inch or as a replacement cap for maybe drains, water heaters, those kind of things. more

As you can see, it's 90-degree, and like I said, it's a half inch barbed connection on both sides, and this end will fit a 3/8 inch inner diameter hose. Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Flair It PEX Transition Fitting. This RV freshwater plumbing transition fitting is going to connect pipes and hoses in your RV freshwater plumbing system, whether you're needing to repair leaky connections or install new lines. This is going to work with your PB pipes, your PEX pipes, and poly vinyl tubing and this fitting has half inch connections on either side and this is going to fit your half inch outer diameter pipes, hoses and tubes. Now to install this, it's going to be relatively simple, you're just going to begin by sliding your compression end, your metal ring, the plastic ring here and then this O ring onto that pipe, just like so, the fingers obviously representing that pipe, and then slide that pipe or that tube into the fitting rather and then just start tightening this down and this is going to give you a really nice, tight, secure fit. Now we've been very impressed with how secure the connections have been with other Flair It Fittings. more
