Result: Boat Loading Guide

My vehicle limits are 6000lbs/600lbs and my trailer loaded and fueled is right around 5000lbs. I noticed while looking at my Nissan towing guide that the 6000lb limit they advertise is only with WD and that my non-WD limit is 5000lbs. |

For your application I would go with the Fastway e2 # FA94-00-0600 over the lower rated # FA92-00-0450 simply because it gives you a little bit of leeway in how you load your boat/trailer and what you're able to carry in your tow vehicle. |

While we definitely have what you need, I am guessing there was maybe a misprint in regards to the tongue weight, which can't be a max of 3,500 lbs (tongue weight is generally 10%-15% of the trailer's maximum loaded weight). So I am guessing that the trailer's overall max loaded weight is 3,500 lbs, which makes a lot of sense because you mentioned your boat was 1,600 lbs. |
