How Do You Measure A Hitch Ball Mount

Hi Im looking at 2 ball mounts. My question is how is the length measured from what point to what point? Thanks

Hitch ball mounts are typically measured from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. With this measurement you can compare that to your trailer hitch and know where the hitch ball will be located. For example, the Brophy Ball Mount for 2" Hitch - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 13-1/4" Long - 10,000 lbs, part # BH20, measures 13-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball mount.
