Snow Chain Recommendation for a 2012 Subaru Impreza with 205/50R17 Tires

Question:
I am looking for tire chains for my 2012 Subaru Impreza with tire size P205/50 R17. I noticed that the system and reviewers recommended either # PW1038 or # PW1938V However, when you look at these products at the description, *neither* of them mentions this particular tire size in the detailed list of sizes. Can you please clarify? Thanks.

First thing you need to do is check the owners manual of your 2012 Subaru Impreza to determine if there are restrictions on snow chain usage.
For a similarly priced set of chains to the two you referenced that would install easily, give you much better traction and would last much longer I would recommend the Thule Chains # TH01221090. I had the chance to install a set of chains like this not long ago and was surprised at how easy they were to install. See install video.
These chains also have a 5 year warranty. The two chains you referenced only have 90 day warranties.
