Question:
SUBJECT: Quality/brightness of reverse lights on Optronics STL211 Hello! Im looking at two sets of LED lights for a Jeep, and I have a question need your input !: Optronics STL 211RB STTw/reverse vs. Optronics STL 111RB STT. I have a bracket with a 6inch oval grommet that covers the stock tail light holes right now on the back of my 69 Jeepster Commando. I am short a reverse light. I dont really want to cut holes in the sheetmetal to mount a reverse light, so I was surprised when I came across the STL211 on your website. Does the STL 211 with reverse put out decent light? or should I go with the STL 111 and mount a separate reverse light bracket? I wish you had a video like with the STL111. If it were you, which ones would you go with? Thank You.

Expert Reply:
LED-type trailer lighting such as the Optronics Submersible LED Trailer Tail Light # STL111RB will provide noticeably brighter light output than typical standard incandescent units.
Thanks to their superb efficiency - roughly 10 times that of incandescent bulbs - they will deliver the most light output from the available power. LEDs also last far longer and generate much less heat than standard bulbs. This light's sealed waterproof housing ensures a long service life without the need to hassle with burned out bulbs.
This light installs using grommet # a70gb and pigtail wiring # A47PB (right angle plug) or # A45PB (straight plug).
