A 5.30-12 tire measures about 22 inches in diameter. A 175/80-13 tire would be about 2 inches larger in diameter at 24 inches. This means that the top of the tire will be 1 inch closer to the underside of the fender. Under a full load, we recommend at least 3 inches of clearance between the top of the tire and the underside of the fender. If you currently have 4 inches of clearance, adding a tire that will be 1 inch closer won't be a problem. If you don't have that kind of clearance, you'll probably be better off staying with your current size.
I've linked you to our selection of both tire sizes as well a wheel/tire combos for both sizes. If you decide on a wheel/tire combo, make sure the new wheel has the same bolt pattern as your existing wheels. You'll also want to ensure that the new tires have an equal or greater load capacity than your current tires. The tires you have now should have their capacity printed on the sidewall.
