is this a two inch INTERNAL dimension? if not, what is the internal dimension.

I went to our warehouse to pull the Curt combo bar # E-9 to provide some measurements.
And yes, the Curt combo bar # E-9 will have an internal dimension of 2-inches x 2-inches and outer dimension of the shank is 2-1/2 inches x 2-1/2 inches. The forged collar is 3-inches x 3-inches. See both diagrams to the right.
