Hey David,

The etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar # e38FV uses two M6 x 35mm long screws, so you should be able to find those pretty easily.

Are you planning on using the hitch collar with a ball mount?

It works great until it doesn’t. When exposed to weather or dirt/gravel roads I found extremely difficult to disengage to remove hitch. Tightening mechanism gets all dunked up so turning to loosen required a little finesse

@Glenn Sorry to hear about that, I'll pass this on to the team here who designed it.

My Anti-Rattle Hitch Collar e38FV failed after a year and I'm not sure of the cause. I discovered it when unhitching after a trip (2016 F-150 towing a 2016 27' Airstream, around 1000 pound hitch weight). The first issue noticed was the steel piece that tightens the corner to minimize the rattle (adjusted using the crank). That piece dented from the corner of the trailer tube (excuse me for not knowing the exact name for parts). The result of that 'dent' was the adjustable Collar would not tighten enough, thus the rattle returned. Thus, a failure of the product. Maybe that adjustable metal piece needs to be a harder steel (?). The second obvious damage were the two protruding stop pins near the crank were deformed downwards about 30º. How did that happen? I don't know, nor do I know if that is a problem, only that something happened to them. But one other thing I noticed when first using the product on early trips was I had to check the tightness as the Collar seemed to loosen while towing. Initially before a trip, I hand tightened as much as I could, then again after a day''s travel. I didn't want to hammer tighten it, so just cranked as hard as I could. So after finding the damage on the product, I went back to the previous anti-rattle simple device which basically is a U-bolt bar bolted on tight. That works, though the e38FV was more convenient.

@LarryJ I'm sorry to hear you ran into these issues. I'm going to forward them to the team who made them. Thank you for providing that feedback.
