Question:
I am looking to purchase a Trailair pinbox for my 5th wheel. Used hopefully to save some cost. I found one that is a model L05 for a Lippert 1621 chassis. I have a Lippert 1116 chassis on my 5th wheel. Can the bolt pattern be modified in some way with a little fabrication to fit it up? I have not been able to find enough dimensional data online to see if the shape and size of the L05 would allow this to work somehow. Can you help?

Unfortunately, the Lippert 1621 and the 1116 are different enough that the L05 Trailair can't be safely modified so that it'll work on a 1621. Enlarging or changing the hole position on the pin box can weaken the metal, and cause the attachment point between the pin box and the 5th wheel to fail.
I've linked you to our FAQ article about pin boxes. At the bottom of the page, you can see diagrams and tables showing the various bolt hole spacing that the various pin box models use.
I'd recommend you sell the Trailair you currently have, and replace it with the correct model to replace the Lippert 1116, part # LC155943.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I can't recommend you do anything that would possibly lead to an unsafe situation.
