Question:
I smashed my factory trailer plug agains a dirt pile wich broke the access door and plug. The back end that plugs on seems OK. Will your part number PK11893 replace this factory part? THANKS

Expert Reply:
The 7-Way US Replacement Connector, # PK11893, will fit on your 2005 GMC 2500. If your mounting bracket was bent or damaged we carry the Mounting Bracket for 7-Way, # 18138, as well.
You might want to consider the OEM Style 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector, # HM40975, which will allow the use of 7-Way and 4-Way wiring with no additional adapters.
