Published 10/29/2014 >
Question:
E Trailer, Mine is a 4 Square Bulldog Jack with a crank on the outside of my /gooseneck horse trailer. As the crank is turned gears on top of the jack turn and drive a stem that lowers or raises the jack by virtue of a threaded collar the is located in the tube. This threaded collar or nut if you will has threaded which are wore out and the jack will no longer raise or lower. This threaded collar is the part I need , do you know where one can be purchased.

Nut is the term used for that threaded collar inside the jack. And the screw would be the other part. The nut is not available by itself but you can get it with the screw (not a bad idea since there could be damage to the screw as well). If you have a 12K capacity Bulldog jack, 182 series, from 2003 to present then you would use # BD500217.
If it is rated for 10K lift and 12K support then you would use # BD500250.
