Will Trailer Valet Work with a Cargo Mate Trailer

Question:
I have a cargo mate trailer and want to know if the Trailer Valet STC-V211 is appropriate for use with my trailer. I do not know the tongue weight. Here are the specs on my trailer Cargo Mate Model GANS8.520TA2 Type Car Trailer Year 2015 Model EHW8518TA2 Size 8.5x20 Color White 86inch Wide Overall Length 21inch 10 Hitch Weight - 310 lbs Hitch Height - 20 inches Ball Size - 2 5/16 Platform Height - 18 inches GVWR - 7000 lbs Curb Weight - 3070 lbs Payload - 3930 lbs Axles - 2 3500 lb EHW8518TA2

The Trailer Valet, # STC-V211, will work on a trailer with a maximum tongue weight, or hitch weight, or 500 pounds. So if the trailer is loaded to the maximum 7,000 pounds then the tongue weight would be too high. But the empty weight of the trailer would not be a problem.
The mounting brackets will fit on trailer frames up to 2-3/4 inches wide and 6 inches tall.
If the tongue weight capacity and mounting bracket fits are acceptable for your trailer then you can use it.
