I am looking to purchase Demco brake actuator DM8104311 I am not sure it will fit my trailer. What is your return policy?

This actuator appears to have five bolt holes for mounting. The holes appear to be of different sizes. 2 holes appear to be 1/2 while 3 appear to be smaller. Please tell me if I am to use all five of the holes for mounting, and what the all the bolt sizes are. Also, must the actuator actually lay on, make contact, with the tounge? I am concerned the existing holes in my trailer tongue will result in the actuator being mounted 1/4 above the tongue. Would this be ok? Or should new holes be drilled in the tongue? Thank you.

On the Demco # DM8104311 the larger holes are 5/8" and the smaller holes are 1/2". When mounting the actuator you can use either the two large holes OR the three smaller holes - not every hole needs to be utilized. I reached out to my contact at Demco and he said that if the coupler isn't physically resting on the tongue, it needs to be as close as possible. If there's a decently large gap I recommend filling it in with a spacer block or adjusting the coupler as needed.
