Troubleshooting Blinking LED Trailer Lights with 2012 Range Rover Westminister Tow Vehicle
Published 09/22/2014 >
Question:
Hi, I have bought a new car transporter trailer and when hooked up to my Range Rover I have no side lights and all flash when breaking. Someone has mention the system on the Range Rover LED Lights does not recognise a trailer has been connected. What can I do? Is there an adaptor?

When most vehicles have a difficult time detecting a trailer being connected that has LED taillights we recommend the part # C35FR that you have referenced. However, we have had several customers try this product on Range Rovers and reported that this did not fix the problem, or in other situations cause fuses to blow.
In light of that, your best option would be to replace the LED lights on your trailer with incandescents. To see all of the incandescent trailer lights we offer check out the link I attached to the right.
