Scissor Jack Recommendation for a 1996 Coleman Pop Up Camper
Published 08/18/2014 >
Question:
These jacks look great. I currently have original Kobar style extension stabilizers on my camper. At times, when lowering the stabilizers due to angle of it coming down will need to dig into dirt or surface to get into place. The scissor style jacks would eliminate this for me. My main concern is are these scissor jacks an over-killinch or too large of a jack for my 12 foot with added front 2 ft storage area - making camper 14ft length in all and about 2,800lb weight with no one inside -? Will the size of the 24inch jacks look and be too large? I know they would certainly stabilize the camper better than the original installed jacks or at least I would think so.

The Scissor Jacks part # UF48-979002 would work very well on your 1996 Coleman Pop-up Camper. The might be larger than what you have on your trailer now, but they won't be so large that they would look out of place or be overkill. They would just simply do a better job stabilizing your trailer than you old style.
I attached a review video for you to check out as well. The overall length of the jacks when fully collapsed is 26 inches, and the overall height is 4-3/4 inches.
