i would like some information about the materials used to create the Gorilla Guard Universal Trailer Coupler Lock. cheers

I called the manufacturer regarding the construction of the the Gorilla Guard Locks, part # 63228 and part # 63227. The main portion is a black-painted SAE-903 spec. steel casting. I pulled the lock from our warehouse to take a close look. The lock and pin are cast as well and appear to have a zinc coating. The keys are brass.
