Question:
Does the cargo carrier 1-1/4 hitch come with a bicycle carrier attachment?

Expert Reply:
The Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier does not come with a bike carrier attachment. However, you could use a Bike Rack Adapter for Hitch Mounted Cargo Carriers like part # CC-125 to transport your bikes.
The Pro Series cargo carrier which you reference weighs 47 pounds. You must factor in the weight of the bike rack adapter and your bikes. You also need to check your vehicle maximum tongue weight rating and use the lowest maximum rating of the vehicle, hitch or cargo carrier as the weight that can be carried in the receiver hitch.
If your BMW 3 Series has a 200 pound max tongue weight rating the you could carry 153 pounds of bikes and bike adapters combined safely on the Pro Series cargo carrier.
I have included video reviews and installation instructions of this cargo carrier and bike carrier for you to check out.
