Nothing makes a drive feel sketchier than leaning hard through corners or quick maneuvers. The 1-3/4" diameter Roadmaster front anti-sway bar ties the front axle to the chassis to balance weight transfer and cut down on side-to-side movement. It uses the axle’s own weight to brace the frame as it shifts in turns, keeping things level and predictable when the road isn’t.
Crosswinds and passing traffic don’t have to mean a white-knuckle grip on the wheel. This setup keeps the vehicle centered and steady by limiting sway and body roll. It reduces the effort needed to stay in your lane, so long highway runs or uneven pavement feel more relaxed.
This isn’t a lightweight bar—it’s built from thick 4140 chromoly steel, a chromium-molybdenum alloy that’s stronger and harder than typical 1020 steel. The bar is heat treated and designed for heavy-duty 16,000 lb and up applications. The larger diameter and high-strength material make it the most robust option in its class for resisting sway and flex.
Instead of soft rubber, this system uses polyurethane bushings that resist wear from oil, gasoline, and ozone. That means less squish, more consistent support, and a longer-lasting setup. It includes heavy-gauge mounting hardware, bushing lubricant, and easy-to-follow instructions for straightforward, no-drill installation.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Roadmaster front anti-sway bar. Now, this anti-sway bar has been designed to fit your 2011 to 2014 Ford F-350, F-450, and F-550 cabin chassis, and then the cabin chassis class C, the cabin chassis type three emergency vehicle, and then the 2015 to 2018 Ford F-450 cabin chassis. And then finally, the 2015 and newer Ford F-550 cabin chassis class C and cabin chassis type three emergency vehicle. On custom-fit parts such as this front anti-sway bar, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Simply input the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, this anti-sway bar does for side to side movement, what a good pair of shocks does for up and down motion. You're gonna notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. This anti-sway bar acts as a length between your vehicle's frame and its front axle using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. The lubricated bushings are going to allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits cross winds, or encounter shifting weights. Now, you are gonna be able to execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence.
This is going to give you a level ride even on irregular surfaces, and this is gonna reduce driver fatigue by minimizing the effort required to keep your vehicle in line. This has also been designed and engineered to avoid interference with most popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories and is heat-treated for heavy duty 16,000 pound and up applications. This is made here with polyurethane bushings instead of the standard rubber variety for a longer lasting system. Polyurethane is durable and resistant to damage caused by oil, gasoline, and ozone. So as you know, less wear means less give in the system and better overall support.
Now, this bar is made of 4140 chrome-moly and it is a chromium and molybdenum, if I said that correctly, steel alloy. So as you might know, this type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of this bar, which is 1 3/4 inches in diameter, that larger diameter is going to increase its torsional roll stiffness. So the result is gonna be a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30% better at resisting sway. Again, the polyurethane bushings and the grommets used at the attachment points are durable, yet flexible.
That's gonna ensure that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective. This includes everything that you see here on my table. You're gonna get the brackets for the bushings, hardware here. You're also going to get some bushing lubricant and Loctite. This is actually called Vibra-Tite And then of course, a set of instructions to guide you through the installation process. Of course, this is gonna work with the rear anti-sway bar that's sold separately, giving you an absolute stability. This is a complete game changer when using a truck camper Mine is an Arctic Fox 990. I would list this under a must have accessory when using a truck camper. Unloaded ride when you hit off camber bumps is slightly rougher, but hey its a Ram 3500 dually for hauling heavy stuff. Also the performance when carving twisty canyons with an empty truck is astonishing....Watch out Corvetts, here I come!

I have taken a few trips with the Clatter Cabin now. It’s been enjoyable to drive. Since then I have replaced the exhaust from the engine back with 2 12 inch pipe. I was able to get the pre bent exhaust parts over the axle and clear your rear sway bar nicely. Now she purrrrs!

After a year and many miles I would give it a five star for sure. Made a great improvement over the stock anti-sway bar. With the rear and front RoadMaster anti-sway along with the RoadMaster steering stabilizer the E-450 33 foot class C motorhome drives like a dream. I highly recommend these three products. If not all at once then this order, 1st rear anti sway bar then 2nd front and then the steering stabilizer with the spring on it.

The two Roadmastercsway bars weve been using continue to impress and perform like they did on day one. Driving back across the country with some days having stiff criswinds continually we rode comfortably and never had handling or steering issues. I remain adamant that these are undoubtedly the best products on the market for this application and welcome any questions. For reference my truck is a 2018 F350 crew cab DRW, 6.7 diesel 4x4 long bed with Bigfoot 3000 series truck camper. Get the Roadmasters!
