What Anti-Sway Bar Fits a 2023 Ram 3500 Diesel Megacab 4x4 that has a TorkLift Super Hitch?

Published 10/13/2026

Question:

I have a 2023 Ram 3500 megacab 4x4 diesel with a recently installed Torkfit Super hitch. I want to add a Hellwig sway bar and checking to see if these are compatible on my truck?

Hi Brad,

The Tork Lift SuperHitch can be problematic because it often obstructs the area where the Hellwig sway bar brackets need to attach. You'll need to measure the gap between the SuperHitch's side plates and the frame rail attachment points where the Hellwig end-links attach, and D-bracket would bolt on to see if you have enough space. There needs to be roughly 2" to 2 1/2" of total lateral clearance between the plate and the truck's frame rail. If you're not sure you have enough space, I recommend reaching out to Tork Lift directly with the hitch and sway bar part numbers to see if there's a spacer available or an alternative mounting orientation. I'll list out the Hellwig Anti-Sway bar options for you below, so you'll know what to use if you do have space or if you call the manufacturer, you have the part numbers. The manufacturer's part number is in parentheses behind our part number for reference.

If your 2023 Ram 3500 Megacab 4x4 diesel is stock height, I recommend using the Hellwig Big Wig Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # HE24MR (7298) that is 1 5/16" in diameter. It's designed to work with heavy duty towing/hauling applications, so it'll give you the biggest improvement in your ride.

If your 2023 Ram 3500 Megacab 4x4 diesel has a 2" lift, you'll need to use the Hellwig Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # HE75YR (7884) that is 1 1/8" in diameter. The HE75YR isn't as thick as the other sway bar but is specifically for a 2" lifted truck and won't fit stock height. It will bolt on the exact same way with included hardware and still provide less sway and better handling around corners just like the thicker sway bar.

What do you usually tow/haul with your Ram 3500?

Ok, thanks I was looking at the 7298. I’ll call Totklift. Thats what Hellwig said to. Just looking for someone that has done this. I cant believe Im the 1st one. Lots of discussion on older RAMs.

@BradP I did find an answer from one of our techs that the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM73FR won't interfere with the Tork Lift Super Hitch Magnum 30K (not sure if you have the magnum or the original). It works with stock height Rams from 2019-2026 with a diesel engine, however, the RM73FR is currently backordered so there's no clear date for when it'll come back into stock. Based off their answer, it looks like we didn't have Hellwig products available then which is likely why we're lacking on info for them in relation to how they work with a SuperHitch. I do recommend the Hellwig over the Roadmaster though because I find it's installation and performance to be better (also it's in stock).
