Hi there Jerome,

The Towing Master 10201085 is an electric A-frame trailer jack, and replacement motors usually aren't offered separately for this style of jack. Most manufacturers sell smaller service parts like switches or covers, but not the motor itself.

If you aren't able to locate a replacement motor through eBay or another parts source, it would probably be more cost effective to replace the complete jack rather than put money into an older unit and still have the rest of the original components.

A good replacement would be the etrailer Electric A-Frame Jack # e23ZV. It's also electric and is rated for 3,500 lbs, so it gives you a little more capacity than your current 2,500-lb jack while still being the same general A-frame style. I have this same one on my car hauler and I use it weekly; works nice and smooth!

That way you're replacing the motor, gears, switch, and jack assembly all at once instead of pairing a new motor with older internal parts. Let me know what you think Jerome.

Was a direct bolt on replacement of the manual jack on A 5x10 dump trailer. I have used it weekly, sometimes more than once weekly for almost 2 years. It comes with a high quality soft cover. I suggest tethering the cover to the jack with some light duty chain as a reminder to replace it and to avoid loss. I left mine uncovered for an extended period and experienced a failure . Etrailer was quick to honor the warrantee. I have been a customer of theirs for over a decade. Buying trailer suspension parts, lighting, vehicle hitches, couplers, etc. At one point I hade 5 trailers, some DIY built and they have been my exclusive supplier . Their customer service is top notch, best in the industry and I would categorize myself as a difficult customer who expects the best.
