Question:
I’m actually need a zero post, but I want the Curt rocker ball, so looking for a 2” for a 2” receiver, with a 2” ball and the 1” shank opening. I’m towing a 2021 Malibu 23 LSV so it needs to be pretty beefy. I’ve gone round and round researching this myself and it seems all posts I’m looking at have a 1 1/4” shank hole. Recommendations welcome and I prefer to stay away from the adjustable models.

Hey Rob, the only Curt Rockerballs that have the 1-1/4 inch diameter shank are 2-5/16 inch in diameter but I looked up the weight of your 2021 Malibu 23 LSV and a 2 inch Rockerball with a 1 inch shank like the part # C40047 will work based on the weight of your boat. Your boat should only weigh around 5k so that combined with the weight of the boat trailer should be totally fine unless you have a heavier trailer. Then for a ball mount the part # C45030 will work great and you'd be set as it has a 2 inch drop like you need.
