Question:
I bought a Ember Touring Travel trailer 2200 ETL. I will be pulling with a Silverado 2500 HD LT with the z71 suspension. Will this fit the trailer with the front lockers that on the trailer and is it a choice for the size of the trailer. I have not towed something this big before and concerned 1 it doesnt fit. 2 is it the best match for truck/trailer

Hey Kurt! Congrats on the new camper; that should be a great setup with your Silverado 2500 HD.
The B&W Continuum # BW28FR would be a very good match. It works with 600-1,600 lbs of tongue weight and has a 2-1/2" shank for your truck. A coworker of mine has the Continuum and absolutely loves it.
The main fitment check is clearance on the trailer frame behind the jack/coupler area, since that is where the Continuum’s hydraulic cylinder and brackets mount. You’ll want a good section of open frame there without the storage lockers or other components getting in the way. See attached photo.
For a more traditional option, the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW2000 also fits a 2-1/2" receiver and has built-in sway control. This is also a very good quality setup, just a little less expensive compared to the Continuum.
What size receiver is on your Silverado?

I tow a 35’ Brinkley Z Air 297 behind my GMC 2500, and it makes a huge difference. Although I ran into a few issues with the hitch due to an inexperienced installer, B&W’s customer service was outstanding. They were incredibly responsive and worked quickly to resolve everything. I really can’t say enough good things about B&W.

Kurt I pull a 28’ Forest river with a 2025 Ram 2500 the B&W Continuum hitch works amazing. Before the trailer would be all over the road with this hitch I don’t even know it’s there. It’s an amazing product. Adam Miller
