Recommended Weight Distribution For 35' Travel Trailer with 1,050LBS Tongue Weight to Prevent Sway
Question:
I’m pulling a 35’ travel trailer that has a dry weight of 7800 lbs with a tongue weight of 1050 lbs, with tow vehicle being a F250 diesel with timbrens bump stops installed. Thoughts on the b and w continuum for sway control which is terrible.

Honestly Tim, there is nothing on the B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System # BW28FR which provides any type of sway prevention. They rely on the fact that the truck will remain level which reduces trailer sway. Personally I recommend using the Equal-i-zer # EQ37140ET as this system has proven itself to be one of the best for decades. It still continues to be the system everyone tries to compete with and claims to be better than. It uses a friction type sway and camber built into the hitch which helps to reduce sway and keep the trailer tracking straight.
