Question:
What should be used to reseal an aluminum roof on a 6x12 cargo trailer on the top perimeter? There is a soft rubbery caulk like product about 3-4inch wide on it from the factory that is cracking and needs repair.

Hey Sandi, if the surface is totally flat and on top of your trailer I would use a self leveling sealant like the part # 34427034145-1 but if you need to apply any on a more vertical portion of the roof too you'd also need some non-sag sealant like the part # 344270341437-1. Is the area to sealed area totally flat?

Hi Sandi It worked great. Just make sure the area is clean. It goes over old caulk without any problems
