Does etrailer Round A-Frame Jack Come Pre-Greased
Updated 09/24/2026 | Published 09/20/2026 >
Question:
Is this jack pre-greased? If so what grease was used? Im concerned about the compatibility of marine grease that should be used. When I used Sta-Lube Marine Grease CRC on my wheel bearings I was told that some types of Marine Grease are not compatible.

Hey David, yes the Round A-Frame Jack part # TJA-5000S-B that you referenced is pre-greased with a white lithium grease complex. In an application like this I wouldn't worry too much about grease compatibility. In a wheel that turns really fast significant heat could be generated that is a different story but for a jack I wouldn't stress about it.

Totally agree with the response. I've rebuilt wheel bearings and worked in a refinery on rotating equipment where the details of the grease is very critical. In this application of speed, friction and wear most grease applications will suffice.
