Installing the Demco DM9519339 Skid Plate on a 2026 Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I am installing a fencing base plate Dm9519339 on a 2026 jeep wrangler rubicon it came with a metal skid plate to replace the factory plastic one I can’t figure a way to get it to fit with the baseplate on Any ideas. Thanks

Hey, thanks for reaching out. The Demco # DM9519339 is confirmed for the 2026 Wrangler Rubicon with the factory steel bumper, and the metal diamond-plate piece included with the kit is meant to replace the factory skid plate, not install along with it.

One important step is that the instructions call for cutting the lower bumper area before installing the replacement skid plate, so I recommend double-checking those cut locations and making sure enough material was removed for the skid plate and base plate brackets to clear each other. If the bumper was not trimmed in the exact locations shown in the instructions, that can keep the skid plate from sitting in the proper position.

I also recommend making sure the base plate brackets are fully seated and aligned before tightening everything down.
