What PSI Should I Run in the Kenda T235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire # KE68JR Trailer Tires?

Hi: I am interested in the Kenda KE68JR ST235/75R15 Load Range D. If the current tire pressure specified on the trailer is 50PSI for the Rainier Apex tire, will that the pressure I should inflate to on the Kenda tires? Thanks!

Hello Kai,

Welcome to etrailer, I'm glad you found us.

No, you will want to inflate the Kenda ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire # KE68JR to 65 PSI when the tire is cold, rather than using the 50 PSI listed for your current Rainier Apex tires. The 50 PSI applies to the tires currently on your trailer and does not carry over to a different tire.

The # KE68JR is a Load Range D tire rated for a maximum load of 2,860 lbs at 65 PSI, so running it at 65 PSI gives you the tire's full rated load capacity.
