Since your 2015 Forest River Sanibel has a ducted system and you are wanting to replace your AC units with ones that have heat pumps, you will want the GE Appliances Low-Profile 15,000 Btu system. For white you will want # GE38RR, or if you prefer black you will want # GE26RR.

There has been a pretty big change in the RV AC world since your Sanibel was built. Your older setup uses R-410A refrigerant, and the new systems switched over to R-32 in 2025. The R-32 components are not backwards compatible with the older R-410A setup, so you will need to replace the complete system rather than just swapping out the rooftop unit and trying to reuse the old controls and thermostat.

That is why I like the GE systems for your setup. They include the rooftop AC, air distribution box, controls, and thermostat, so you will have everything matched together for the new R-32 system while also getting the heat pump you are looking for.

As far as installation goes, you will remove the old rooftop and interior components, install the new GE unit into the existing roof opening, connect the new air distribution box to your existing ductwork, and install the new controls and thermostat. You will be able to keep using the ductwork already running through the ceiling of your Sanibel.
