Question:
I need help finding a compatible trailer brake controller for my truck. I own a 2017 Chevrolet silverado 1500. This truck has the seven pin connector, but was not equipped with factory trailer brakes. Can you point me in the right direction for these parts?

Hey Jay.
With you already having the 7-pin at the back of the truck this will be easy. My favorite brake controller is the Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller # RED57AR. This will allow you to control your trailers brakes via Bluetooth with a remote in the cab. This is also very easy to install as it simply plugs in line with your factory 7-way you already have installed. I also attached a video that goes over installation and features.
What are you planning to tow with your Silverado?
