Question:

I have a 2026 Nissan Frontier 4X4 and I want to re-Universal Wiring re-use the Draw-Tite brake controller from my previous tow vehicle. The brake controller has black, blue, red and white wires going the the wiring adapter/plug from the old tow vehicle, what part do I need for my Nissan Frontier?

Congrats on the new truck Raymond! To reinstall your Draw-Tite brake controller in your new 2026 Nissan Frontier, you'll need the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter item # C51382.

The Curt Custom Wiring Adapter item # C51382 is designed to plug directly into the factory brake controller port located behind your Frontier's dash to the right of the steering wheel.

The item # C51382 adapter is designed for Curt brake controllers so you'll need to cut the black connector off. Once you do this you can splice in the new harness to the wires coming off of the connector on your Draw-Tite controller. The functions and color of the wires for both your Draw-Tite controller and the Curt item # C51382 adapter are the same. You'll want to use 12 Gauge Butt Connectors like item # DW05745-5 to make sure the connections are secure.
