Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE

Question:
I have a 2024 RAV4 Prime XSE and plan to install a Curt C77MJ hitch receiver. Will the Thule Outpace 2 Bike rack fit and will I be able to fold it up on the this vehicle? Thanks.

Hey Vincent!
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C77MJ will fit your 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE. The hitch is custom fit so there will be no customization needed besides a little trimming of the fascia to fit. This hitch may interfere with your liftgate's kick sensor and I'm not finding that yours is able to be moved to a different position.
The # C77MJ has a 2" receiver, so it is compatible with the Thule OutPace Bike Rack # TH39SA. This rack isn't rated to carry heavy bikes or e-bikes, so you are limited to 30 lbs per bike, but the hitch is rated for up to 675 lbs of tongue weight, so the weight of the racks and two bikes won't slow you down at all.
What kind of bikes do you have? Are you planning to use the rack daily or just on road trips?
