Torque Value for Install of etrailer Hitch on 2022 Honda CR-V

Question:

I just received my hitch for my 2022 CRV- LX. and watched the installation video. You mentioned the importance of correct Torque when tightening the mounting bolts. WHAT TORQUE SETTING SHOULD I SET THE TORQUE WRENCH? THANKS,

Hey Angel, this is a great question but the reason we didn't mention the torque value needed to install the etrailer hitch part # e98848 is because in theory it's subject to change so we recommend referring to the install instructions that come with the hitch because if the figure was to change it would be there first and we'd always be referring people to the correct specs.

So with that said here's what the instructions say:

Torque all 7/16" hardware to 59 ft-lbs and all 1/2" hardware to 110 ft-lbs

I have yet to see this info ever change so I don't have same anxiety about posting it for you to see.

Thanks, for the reply. FYI, There is NO Installation instruction included. I received the Hitch, one plastic bag with hardware, but NO INSTRUCTIONS. However, one end of the package is torn/open. it might have fallen off. THANKS AGAIN
