Thanks for the information Greg. Your 2011 Keystone Cougar Xlite 244Rlswe has a pair of Dexter EZ lube 4,400 lbs axles. To replace the hubs and brake assemblies, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # 8-407-5UC3-EZ, and the Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes item # K23-478-479.
The trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # 8-407-5UC3-EZ is sold individually and comes with new bearings, races, grease seal, grease cap, lug nuts, cotter pin, castle nut, and washer. This hub is designed specifically for Dexter's 4,400 lbs axles and has a 6 on 5-1/2 lug nut pattern.
The Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes item # K23-478-479 are sold as a pair and will allow you to replace one axles worth of brakes. These are self-adjusting brake assemblies designed specifically for the brake flange on Dexter's 4,400 lbs axles. They require no manual tuning or adjustment.
As far as a replacement axle goes, I am going to need some more information from you. There's no database that shows what specific axle comes on your trailer. What I'll need you to find is the hub face and spring seat measurement shown in the diagram I attached below.
You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
What kind of trips do you typically take in your Keystone Cougar?
