Replacement Fresh Water Fill Diverter Valve and Plate Assembly for a Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer

Updated 08/29/2026 | Published 08/23/2026

Question:

I have a Keystone, Cougar Half. Ton travel trailer. I believe my converted valve is broken. The value switches from city water to tank by moving switch on outside of trailer. With the water supply hooked up to city water, it will fill fresh water tank. I thought it was check valve and replaced that but still will fill fresh water tank. Do you have replacement?

We've got quite a few replacement options Herman. It just depends on what specific docking station you have and what fittings you need. The B&B RV Fresh Water Fill Diverter Valve and Plate Assembly item # BM35RR has 1/2" hose fittings and 1/2" MPT fitting.

Do you see any part numbers on your diverter or know what fitting sizes you need? There's no database that shows what specific one came on your Keystone Cougar.

You can add this information, along with any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

I was extremely lucky that a local camper repair shop had what I needed. It was taken out of another camper and replaced with a different set up. There were no issues with it and works in my camper. The part you re is the one that would work, in case I have a failure again. Thank you for responding back to me.
