Hi Tim, you do not have to raise your 2025 Honda Pilot to install the Curt hitch part # C22HR, but having it on a lift would definitely make the job easier by giving you more room to work underneath. If you're doing the installation at home, ramps or properly rated jack stands can also give you some extra working room without needing access to a shop lift.
If you do raise the Pilot, make sure it's supported safely on properly rated equipment and chock the wheels so it can't move while you're underneath. If you have enough room to comfortably reach the hitch mounting points with the Pilot sitting on the ground, though, there's no requirement to raise it just for the installation.
Are you planning on tackling the hitch installation yourself?

I backed my Pilot onto a set of car ramps. That gave me plenty of room.

I installed this on a MDX without lifting the car. I did use jack stands to hold up the hitch during the install since I was doing it by myself. That helped keep it level as I was getting the bolts in place. You wouldn't need that if you have a second person helping you.
