Question:
Hello, I have a 2018 triple crown 5’x8’ utility trailer with two 3500 lb axles and electric brakes. It has 25000 miles and its a work trailer so Id like to change them as a precaution. Can you recommend electric brakes and hubs?

Thanks for the information Frank! To replace the hubs and brake assemblies on your 2018 Triple Crown 5’x8’ utility trailer with 3,500 lbs axles, I recommend the following parts:
Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles item # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K
etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes item # AKEBRK-35-SA
The Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K is sold individually so you'll need four. The hub comes pregreased ready to install on your utility trailer. New bearings and a grease seal are already installed plus you get new lug nuts and a grease cap. This hub has a 5 on 4-1/2 lug nut pattern and is designed to work with E-Z Lube spindles.
The etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes item # AKEBRK-35-SA come in a left and right hand pair so you'll need one set per axle. These are self-adjusting brake assemblies that never need to be manually tuned or adjusted.
What do you usually haul around in your trailer for work? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.
