Can TorkLift Camper Tie Downs From A Ford Truck Transfer Over To A Ram Truck?

Updated 08/25/2026 | Published 08/17/2026

Question:

I own a Ford, Im looking at a Ram pickup, can I just purchase 4 new frame mounts and use the existing arms from my current torque lift system?

Hey Marty, thanks for reaching out. You are going to need a whole new set of TorkLift tie downs for your new Ram truck. The removable arms are not universal, plus the mounts aren't sold by themselves, so even if you could get new mounts, the arms from a Ford truck would not match up with a Ram.

What is the year make and model of your new truck? Also let me know the specifics like bed length, hitch type, and whether or not it has running boards. Let me know and I can make sure you get the right ones.

Do you already have turnbuckles you plan to use?
