Does Oris Trailer Hitch for 2024 Volvo XC90 Replace Bumper Beam

Question:
Can you install the bumper bar back over this hitch mount? I am not seeing this in the instructions but most other bars let you put the bumper bar back on.

Hey Chris, with the install of the Oris Trailer Hitch # TS76VR that you referenced you do not reinstall the bumper beam. I checked the install instructions and Oris states to "scrap the bumper beam". This is because this hitch replaces the bumper beam and performs the same job with having added benefit of having detachable hitch that is below it. Are you planning on doing some towing?

Yes, this kit replaces the factory aluminum bumper beam with a new steel bumper beam. A bit heavier, but also much sturdier.

No need to replace the bumper. The hitch does the job.
