Hello John,

Thanks for writing in.

Yes, you can bolt the Lippert Quick Drop RV Stabilizer Jack # LC68DK to the rear of your toy hauler. This stabilizer can be either bolted or welded in place, so you can definitely go with the bolt-on installation you're wanting.

Good thing you're right at 72", because that's the maximum frame width the # LC68DK is designed to accommodate. Since your frame measures 72" across, you're right at the upper end of its adjustment range.

Before drilling into the frame, I would check with the manufacturer of your toy hauler just to make sure they are okay with you drilling at your intended mounting locations. The last thing we want to do is compromise the frame or potentially affect your warranty.

One important thing to keep in mind is that the # LC68DK is strictly a stabilizer. It isn't designed to lift or level your toy hauler. Each leg has a 500 lb stabilizing capacity and is there to help take that annoying movement and rocking out of the trailer once you're already parked and leveled. I attached a diagram showing the proper operating angle and positioning of the Quick Drop stabilizer legs.

Getting things geared up and ready for a final summer adventure? Where are you headed to next?
