Question:
I am interested in a set of 2 step MOryde Stepabove or Lippert Solid steps for a 2027 Keystone Coleman 17R. I’m not near the camper and not sure what size I need.

Hello Brent,
Wow, congrats on the new 2027!!
It would be really nice if we had a database that supplied us with all of the measurements and floor plans for campers, but unfortunately we do not. The good news is that we do have a couple of 2-step options that may work for your 2027 Keystone Coleman 17R. We'll just need a couple of measurements from your camper before I can tell you for sure which one is the right fit.
For the MORryde option, you can take a look at the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR26RR. These are a 2-step setup designed for doorways measuring 23-3/4" to 26-1/4" wide. Another option is the Lippert SolidStep RV Steps # LC733931, which is also a 2-step setup and fits doorways measuring 25" to 28-7/8" wide with an entry height of 22" to 28".
When you get back to your camper, make sure it is parked on level ground before taking your measurements. You'll want to measure the width of the doorway as well as the entry height from the ground up to the threshold. I've attached a couple of images that show you exactly where to take these measurements, which should make it pretty easy once you're back at the camper. Please comment those measurements below so I can find you the best fit.
Have you taken the new camper out on it's first trip, where did you go, what did you see?

The main advantage of these steps (and it is, in my opinion, a huge advantage) is how easily they are adjusted. For any of these types of steps to be effective, both legs need to solidly contact the ground, but the ground can be uneven. This means each leg has to be independently adjustable. On these steps, you simply press a button on each leg, and you can then let the leg drop to the ground, leaving it adjusted to the ground. These have work better than any steps I’ve had on RVs.

very easy to install works wonderful far more stable than the step that hangs under a door easily adjust to different ground heights highly recommend replacing any pullout two step under an RV door
